Freida McFadden has done it again because I absolutely loved this book. From the first few chapters I was completely hooked and found it very hard to put down. This was one of those reads where you keep telling yourself you will stop after one more chapter and suddenly it is much later than planned.

Dear Debbie had such a great balance of tension and humour. There were genuinely funny moments that made the characters feel real, but they were perfectly mixed with those shocking moments that make you stop and think did that really just happen. I love when a thriller can make you laugh one minute and gasp the next, and this one absolutely delivered.

The pacing kept everything moving quickly and the story stayed engaging the whole way through. I never felt bored or tempted to take a break which is always a sign that a book has fully pulled me in.

Freida as usual did not disappoint and this was another reminder of why I keep reaching for her books.

Final verdict
If you enjoy fast paced thrillers with twists, humour and plenty of jaw dropping moments, this is definitely one to add to your reading list.
